Andrew and Mackenzie

Mackenzie and Andrew’s wedding was an absolutely incredible affair!  Great people, wonderful wine, and a couple who was so obviously and deeply in love.  It was a perfect and beautiful fall day in early November at one of my favorite venues in town, Arrington Vineyards.

Arrington has so many options when it comes to holding a wedding on the property.  And so many stunning views.  The bridal suite was lovely with a light cream interior, big bright windows and full length mirrors.  It was also big enough to get Mackenzie’s whole bridal party in the room for the big dress reveal!

Mackenzie and Andrew had been together forever - according to their loved ones - and this wedding was a long time coming.  With the history that these two had, they both had so many friends invested in the success and happiness of their big day.  They each had 9 people standing with them in their parties!  This made for lots of beautiful and silly shots with bridesmaids and groomsmen.  Just over the hill we set up a beautiful little first look spot amongst the wintery vines where our couple shared a quick heart-to-heart and a cheers.

The ceremony itself was in the top section of the big barn at Arrington with string lights, drapery, and Edison bulbs to accentuate the warm glow of this space.  After a short and sweet ceremony and a killer first kiss, it was time to head outside for some more shots of our newlywed couple in the golden fall evening light.  

Then it was time to party!! More great wine, funny and touching speeches, and dancing filled the rest of the night.  A sweet end to a perfect wedding day.
